The obverse (front) center of each of these beautiful notes features a clipper ship in full sail, while the left side shows a sailor leaning on a capstan. Each has been hand signed as well as hand numbered and is dated Richmond, VA September 2nd, 1861

The reverse (back) was left unprinted though they occasionally show some notations from the period. These Confederate 20.00 bills are in full fine condition, meaning while they have seen a fair amount of circulation, they still retain some of their original crispness.
