To help mark the 20th anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program, the U.S. Mint sold these terrific One Ounce Silver Eagle sets. Included is the first ever reverse proof version of the American Eagle Silver Coins. The reverse proof Silver Eagle was struck with specially prepared dies with mirrored devices and frosted fields - the reverse of a standard proof coin. Also included are one ounce versions of the American Eagle Silver Proof Coin and the Uncirculated Silver Eagle. Two of these 2006-dated coins carry the “W” mint mark, indicating they were struck at the West Point mint. The Reverse proof issue was struck with the a "P" mint mark to show it was struck at the Philadelphia mint.
 
These coins have been certified and encapsulated by Numismatic Guarantee Corp (NGC)(pictured), the International Coin Grading service (ICG) or ANACS as MS/PF-70 the highest possible grade!
