All our 1969 Proof Sets comes housed in their original mint holder and box. 2,934,600 of these proof sets were issued by the San Francisco Mint.

Proof coins are coins struck just for collectors. The U.S. Mint uses specially prepared planchets (blanks) and dies. The coins are struck twice to give them optimum detail.
