These 40% silver or "silver clad" Kennedy half dollars were struck from 1965 to 1970 and are regularly traded in bullion circles along with their 90% silver siblings. Because this short lived series circulated at a time when silver coins were being removed from circulation, heavily worn coins are not often seen, with the average 40% silver half usually grading in the XF/AU range. Please Note: The 1970(D) is a scarcer issue and is not included in our 20 coin rolls.
