Detailed Description

To help mark the 20th anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program, the U.S. Mint sold these terrific One Ounce Silver Eagle sets. Included is the first ever reverse proof version of the American Eagle Silver Coins. The reverse proof Silver Eagle was struck with specially prepared dies with mirrored devices and frosted fields - the reverse of a standard proof coin. Also included are one ounce versions of the American Eagle Silver Proof Coin and the Uncirculated Silver Eagle. The uncirculated and proof coins carry the “W” mint mark, indicating they were struck at the West Point mint while the reverse proof has a "P" mint mark for the Philadelphia mint.

This three-coin collection is housed in an injection molded case that is finished with a high-gloss lacquer and features a textured, embossed leather top pad.

Production of this set is limited to just 250,000 units.
