Q: What is different about this Layaway?
A: It's not a layaway! It is very similar but because we don't set aside a particular item we can be more flexible.

Q : Why don't you offer a typical Layaway?
A: Layaways can be an excellent tool for buyers and sellers but we have found for our type of business they create inventory and storage problems.
They also require extra paperwork and customer service in regards to collecting payments.

Q: You said your "Take Your Time Plan" is more flexible. How so?
A: Most layaways require a 20-25% down payment and need to be paid in 60 or 90 days. Our plan asks for only 10% down and you can take as long as you need to pay it off.

Q: If I cancel my No Layway layaway order before it's paid is there a charge?
A: No!

Q: If I cancel my No Layway layaway after it's paid is there a charge?
A: The only time Mintproducts charges a cancellation fee is when you cancel certain bullion coins more than one day after payment is received.

Q. After I make my final payment, what if the price has gone down on the item(s) I ordered?
A: You will pay the lower price.

Q: What happens if the price has gone up?
A: You will be charged the new price.  In a typical month only about 2-3% of the items we sell have a price change and these are mostly bullion related products.

Q: If my items are not layed away for me, how long will it take to ship my order after it is paid?
A: Once your order has been paid it will be processed like our other orders. It will usually ship in just a couple of days.

Q: Can I use your No Layaway layaway "Take Your Time Plan" to buy all your products?
A: About 99% -  If we think an item might not be available down the road our No Layaway layaway can't
be used. Your satisfaction is our goal!

Q: What happens if an item I order becomes unavailable?
A: This is highly unlikely, but if it does happen you will be given the choice of ordering a different item or a full refund.

Q: Do I have to make monthly payments?
A: We do ask that you make regular payments. However, you set the amount.

Q: Can I have you make my payments automatically on a certain day every month?
A: Yes. Just tell us when and how much!

Q: Do I have a return privilege?
A: Yes. Many typical layaways do not allow for returns, but with our plan you have a 10 day return period (except on certain bullion coins) just like any other order.

Q: How can I pay for my No Layaway layaway?
A: We accept MC/Visa, Discover, Diners Club, and all types of checks. We also accept bank wires in certain cases.

Q: Why a No Layway layaway?
A:  We feel the No Layaway layaway "Take Your Time Plan" will allow our customers to acquire coins for their collection without
paying interest and fees they might have to incur if they cannot pay for their purchase up front.

Q: Can I place my No Layaway layaway order on your website?
A: No. Our website currently charges you for your entire order when you place it online.

Q: Is there a minimum order?
A: Yes. For book keeping purposes we ask your No Layaway order be a minimum of $50.00.

Q: Can I use your plan for special orders?
A: The "Take Your Time" plan can only be used for items that are for sale on our website.
