U.S. Territorial Quarters

During the year 2009, the U.S. Mint started their follow up to the very popular Statehood Quarter Program. The 6 quarters released in 2009 honor the 5 U.S. territories as well as the District of Columbia. The territorial quarters include: Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, as well as the aforementioned Washington D.C. issue.

These territorial quarters, which were released during 2009, boast some of the lowest quarter mintages since the 1960’s!
