1885-S Morgan Silver Dollar Coin - Brilliant Uncirculated Condition

COIN HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The obverse features George T. Morgan's famous design. It shows Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with the word "Liberty" spelled out on her hair band. Bordering the rim of the coin are the words "E Pluribus Unum," the coin's date of issue and 13 stars, 1 to represent each of the original 13 colonies.
  • The reverse design shows a bald eagle clutching onto an olive branch in one claw and a group of arrows in the other. Above the eagle's head are the words "In God We Trust." Surrounding the coin's edge are the words "United States of America" and "One Dollar."
  • Mintage of 1,497,000 coins.
  • Contains .7734 oz of 90% Silver.
  • Struck at the San Francisco Mint.
  • All coins grade MS-60 or higher!

The Morgan Silver Dollar is the world's most popular Silver Dollar. They are cherished by both investors and collectors alike not just for their historical appeal, but also because so many were minted over the years and entered into circulation, that those years with lower mintages or higher graded specimens can be very valuable!

  • Received another very nice BU uncirculated Morgan just as advertised.
  • Another stunning example of a quality coin sent by Mint Products. It rivals $700 dollar coins I see @ my local coin dealer.
  • Got a borderline Unc. from the one of a kind section. Very nice coin. Brilliant but a bit baggy.
