2012 Infantry Soldier Silver Dollar - Gem Proof Condition - Comes In Its Original Mint Box With Certificate Of Authenticity
The Infantry Silver Dollar was released in 2012 to commemorate the Infantry branch of the Armed Forces in compliance with the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center Commemorative Coin Act (Public Law 110-357) which was signed into law on October 8, 2008.
The obverse features a present day Infantry soldier leaning forward with his arm stretched out as if he is signalling, "Follow Me." Inscriptions on the obverse include: LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and 2012. The reverse features the crossed rifles insignia, which is the symbol of the Infantry branch. Inscriptions on the reverse include ONE DOLLAR, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
