Arches National Park, located outside of Moab in Eastern Utah, began as a National Monument in April of 1929 and was signed into recognition by President Herbert Hoover. It wasn’t established as a National Park until November of 1971. With over 76,000 acres to explore and over 2,000 arches to view, the park is home to many hikers and campers through the seasons. The parks more notable features include Delicate Arch, Balanced Rock, Devil’s Garden, Fiery Furnace, Petrified Dunes, and many more fins, balanced rocks, and pinnacles.
