COIN HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The coin comes encapsulated inside of its government issued packaging, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Voyageurs National Park is located in Minnesota on the US/Canadian border near International Falls. It consists of more than 281,000 acres of land and water. It is a popular destination for hikers, campers, and water/ice enthusiasts. There are over 50 miles of trails that can be used by hikers and campers as well as many islands and waterways that are only accessible by boat. In the winter, you can partake in, snowmobiling, ice fishing and lake driving, as well as cross country skiing and snowshoeing. The name, Voyageurs, refers to the heritage and history of the area. French-Canadian fur traders from early European settlements used the area as a throughway to conduct commerce.
