2014-S Arches Quarter Rolls - Uncirculated Condition
Though the San Francisco Mint Arches Quarters were struck as Business Strikes, none of these quarters were issued for circulation, insuring there desirability for years to come.
Arches National Park, located outside of Moab in Eastern Utah, began as a National Monument in April of 1929 and was signed into recognition by President Herbert Hoover. It wasnít established as a National Park until November of 1971. With over 76,000 acres to explore and over 2,000 arches to view, the park is home to many hikers and campers through the seasons. The parks more notable features include Delicate Arch, Balanced Rock, Devilís Garden, Fiery Furnace, Petrified Dunes, and many more fins, balanced rocks, and pinnacles.
The reverse design depicts a close up view of Delicate Arch. The particular arch is well known as the most famous arch in the world and also represents Utah on postage stamps and license plates.
