Silver Washington Quarters were produced from 1932 to 1964 (with the exception of 1933 where no Quarters were produced) and were composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Coins issued since 1965 do not contain Silver, with the exception of the 1992 to present day Silver Proof Quarters. The composition of all 1965 to present day circulation issues, including State Quarters and National Park Quarters, is comprised of copper-nickel.
All of the Washington Silver Quarters listed below are in Choice Brilliant Uncirculated Condition (unless otherwise noted). The coins will contain no trace of wear, light blemishes, and have an attractive mint luster that averages a grade of MS-63. Key Dates in the Washington Quarter Series include the 1932-D, 1932-S, 1935-D, 1936-D, 1939-S, and 1940-D. There are also many varieties available including the 1934 Double Die, Light Motto and Heavy Motto, 1937, 1942-D, 1943, and 1943-S Double-Die Obverse, the 1950-D D over S, and the 1950- S S over D.
