2013 American Silver Eagle 2 Coin West Point 75th Anniversary Set - Gem Proof!
In 2013, the U.S. Mint released a special 2 coin Silver Eagle set to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the West Point Mint. It features a Reverse Proof Silver Eagle as well as a special Enhanced Uncirculated finish Silver Eagle, both appropriately minted at West Point. The 2013 Enhanced Uncirculated Silver Eagle features three different finishes in its design: mirrored brilliant, light frosted, and heavy frosted. The light frosted finish is a new finish that is considered a soft satin finish. Each Silver Eagle starts as a burnished blank and is struck three times at the West Point Mint to achieve the three contrasting finishes.
Both coins are encapsulated and come housed in their original mint issued box with certificate of authenticity.
